Abstract: Prevention of crime currently means a number of intervention strategies directed to reducing the causes of and opportunities for crime before it occurs. The issue of the anti-crime policy has been the subject of special programs in European Union, however a unified anti-crime policy doesn’t exist. In this article, the prevention policies of several European countries are examined and the fear of crime is further analyzed, as well as its management .
