An Alternative Proposal for Greek Universities

Abstract: Formal European and national policies consider university as a job instrument important for society, since it creates employment conditions and offers developmental research for goods in an environment of rampant consumerism. However, apart from consumerism, knowledge, culture, truth and social reality pursuit are necessary as well. Subsequently, there has been a reactional movement against this consideration all across Europe and plans have been made proposing the universities’ return to their previous orbit. The following text presents such a reformation proposal.
